When We Are Closed
WHEN THE SURGERY IS CLOSED (OUT OF HOURS SERVICE)
Havering CCG (formerly Havering PCT) have contracted with the Partnership of East London (PELC) to provide out of hours services in the London Borough of Havering. Local doctors working from the Out of Hours Centre based at Queens Hospital undertake night, weekend and bank holiday cover.
Please contact Out of Hours if you can not wait until the surgery re-opens on 111.
For health information and advice you may contact NHS 111. This is a 24 hour nurse-led advice line and may be a useful source of information and help and should be considered before contacting the surgery. Accepting calls from 18.30-08.00 daily, weekends and Bank Holidays

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Alternatives
When the surgery is closed patients can visit one of the Walk In Centres based in Dagenham, Barking, Harold Wood and Rainham.
The Broad Street Clinic is open Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at weekends and bank holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Upney Lane Clinic is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The Harold Wood clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
If you need a doctor IN AN EMERGENCY then telephone the surgery and listen to the instructions given for contacting the duty doctor. The doctor may wish to speak with you and may advise you to attend the Out-of-Hours Centre.
Home visits are not usually necessary and are not available for transportation problems. Recent surveys have shown that a lot of ‘out of hours’ calls could wait until the surgery is open again the next day, and so please only use this service for real emergencies.
