Repeat Prescriptions
If your doctor decides you need medication on a long-term basis you can obtain them on a repeat prescription basis. These can be ordered in the following ways:
- In person - using the second half of the printout attached to your last prescription, clearly mark the items required and deliver it to the surgery.
- By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- Online - follow the link at the top of this page to complete a simple registration.
Requests for repeat prescriptions should be in writing. For safety reasons, they will not be taken over the telephone.
Please leave requests for repeat prescriptions at reception. The prescription will be ready 48 working hours later. A stamped addressed envelope MUST be enclosed with postal requests
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
